This album is what taught me what a good cover is. Live covers are a different story, but what’s the point of a band recording a song that sounds exactly like the original artist. And actually I take it back about live covers, even then you should be trying to renvision the song. Nothing is sacred. Rip apart the original, tear away all its meaning and infuse new life in to it with your own meaning. If someone claimed they made a remix and then the track they played was identical to the original wouldn’t you call shenanigans?
